About Hope Station
Hope Station is a Recovery Center located in Harrisburg, PA that offers services that promote and support empowerment. Rather than focusing on treatment of the disease, the Center stresses personal values and principles of recovery, and assists individuals in establishing a foundation that supports living a drug-free lifestyle.
The Center offers an environment conducive to recovery where people can access Recovery Community Project services and other resources necessary to sustain recovery. Service recipients, staff, and volunteers work as a team to develop, implement, and evaluate the services and support offered through the project. By planning, implementing, and directing Center services and activities, individuals in recovery can learn practical lessons about planning, teamwork, budgeting, employment, and other aspects of being productive members of society. The Center is a source for information, resources, and referral service to those in need of support that extends beyond the scope of our program.
The Center is accessible by public transportation to promote maximum participation and is Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant. It is open to all recovering persons age 18 and older, regardless of their race, religion, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or pathways used to find recovery.
